For the past 20 years, Poh Guan has worked with companies across Asia-Pacific to implement leadership development, talent management and change acceleration programs. Some of the more memorable projects that he has led include:

A leadership development program for all senior leaders in a government organisation
An executive coaching program for the senior management team of a global logistics company
A competency modelling project for the military
A 360 Feedback program for sales managers of a global pharmaceutical company
A leadership development centre for a regional bank
A change management program to support a bank following a merger
In addition to his consulting experience, Poh Guan has served as Senior Vice President of Talent & Organisation Development at the United Overseas Bank.
Poh Guan is certified to use a number of leadership assessment psychometric instruments including the Centre for Creative Leadership’s Benchmarks and Skillscope 360 Assessments, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation (FIRO-B) assessment, the CEB-SHL suite of assessments, Gallup’s StrengthsFinder and the DiSC. Poh Guan is also a founding partner of the John Maxwell Team as well as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
Poh Guan graduated with a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree, both in Mechanical Engineering, from the National University of Singapore and Brown University respectively. He also has an MBA from the Nanyang Business School.
